On Tuesday 4 April, the Industrial Strategy Commission held two evidence sessions in Manchester at the Industry 4.0 Summit and at The University of Manchester.
On Wednesday 29 March the Industrial Strategy Commission held an evidence session at Factory 2050, part of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Sheffield. The AMRC is a core part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, which comprises seven leading manufacturing research centres across the UK.
The Industrial Strategy Commission was formally launched on March 6th at a packed event at the Royal Society on London.

We are inviting all interested parties to share with us relevant information, ideas and comments about industrial strategy that address the Commission’s four research themes: Assessing the UK economy; Future Challenges and Opportunities; The role of the state and Learning lessons.
